Thanks for writing about our conversation! I thought it was inspiring as well. The marketing industry tends to get so mired in the weeds of ROI optimization, it is far too seldom the question "why are we doing this?" gets asked.

It's inspiring to be reminded of cultural stereotypes like this (which I certainly share) AND how easily they can be overcome when we "stay open to what is" and take the time to reflect on and learn from our actual experiences (instead of leaping ahead to our assumptions and inferences.)
